Biila Go brings savings and smooth running to the everyday life of Pohjolan Liikenne
In the mornings and evenings, you can see a neat row of fully electric shared cars at the Pohjolan Liikenne's depot. The company has 60 shared cars that allow drivers to move from the depot to the interchange or back when changing shifts. The Biila Go service ensures that cars are serviced on time and returned to the row as soon as possible to wait for the next user.
"The biggest benefit is that we don't need a rental car for maintenance because of the speed of the service, as rental car costs are high for a company of this size," says Ville Taipale, Pohjolan Liikenne's Maintenance Engineer.
Taipale is responsible for the maintenance and service contracts for the company's buses and passenger vehicles.
Biila Go and Pohjolan Liikenne have been working together for a year and a half.
"When I joined Pohjolan Liikenne in the summer of 2019, no one took care of the maintenance relocations and therefore maintenance times were extended. I started to build a more cost-effective system for it, which is when Biila Go stepped in."
